Stepping Stone Supported Living Service aims to offer young adults aged between 16 to 18, who have been previously ‘Looked After’ by the Local Authority, semi-independent accommodation in a shared property with their supported living providers.

Aims & Objectives

Supported living providers have a distinct role where they provide opportunity for young people to live in a safe caring and homely environment whilst providing support, advice and guidance to enable their residents to live independently and achieve their full potential.
Young people aged 16-18 who have previously been ‘looked after’ will have support from the Stepping Stone Supported Living service that will enable them to manage the transition to living independently. This will be achieved by providing a stepping-stone in the form of semi-independent shared accommodation that will prepare the young person to manage their own tenancy.
